Overview

SA Technologies is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Cypress, JavaScript, SQL, and CI/CD pipelines.

The role

focuses on ensuring high-quality software delivery through robust automation frameworks, continuous testing, and close collaboration with development teams. This is a remote role; however, candidates from Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, and Mumbai are preferred for better collaboration and timezone alignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress Build and enhance automation frameworks for scalable testing solutions Perform functional, integration, and regression testing for web applications (PHP-based) Identify, document, and track defects through resolution Execute cross-browser testing and ensure application stability Work in Linux environments and perform basic command-line operations Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins preferred) Execute SQL queries for backend data validation Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders for defect resolution and release readiness Required Skills & Experience 5–7 years of QA experience with strong focus on automation testing Hands-on experience with Cypress automation framework Strong proficiency in JavaScript for test automation scripting Experience working in Linux environments Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins preferred) Basic understanding of SQL for backend validation Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Preferred Skills Experience with API testing tools (Postman or similar) Exposure to additional frameworks/tools (Playwright, Selenium, etc.) Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs) Key Competencies Strong attention to detail Ownership mindset Ability to work independently in a remote environment Strong coordination with cross-functional teams Educational Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field Why SA Technologies Inc.?
