Title: Operations & Security Intern Organization: Greenpeace MENA Type of Contract: Internship Reports To: Operations & Security Manager Duration: 3 months (renewable once ONLY) Location: Lebanon (Remotely)
Overview
The Operations & Security Intern will support the day-to-day work of the Operations & Security team by helping keep things organized, on track, and running smoothly. This is a hands-on support role covering tasks like data management, documentation, follow-ups, and routine coordination, working closely with the team to build practical experience in operations and security support.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations and events: Create and maintain online forms, surveys, and data collection tools.
- Track and follow up on submissions from volunteers and participants, and maintain accurate records of responses to forms or required information.
- Update spreadsheets and databases Support volunteer administration and onboarding processes.
- Assist with planning and coordinating events, training, and meetings (including participant registration, attendance tracking, meeting notes, agendas, and post-event follow-up).
- Security: Support the formatting, proofreading, organization, and updating of security policies, guidelines, and SOPs under the guidance of the Operations & Security Manager. Required Skills &.
Qualifications
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage assigned tasks and deadlines Attention to detail and accuracy when handling information and documents Good written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is an asset).
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Forms, Drive) or Microsoft Office.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, online forms, and digital collaboration tools.
- Able to manage routine tasks, follow up on assigned actions, and keep information organized.
- Reliable, willing to learn, and comfortable working remotely as part of a team.
- Interest in nonprofit operations, administration, or project coordination is an advantage.
